Piers Morgan says Tottenham have a better chance than Arsenal at winning the title this season

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to claim that Tottenham have a better chance of winning the Premier League this season in the wake of Arsenal’s loss to Chelsea.

Diego Costa finished from close range in the 23rd minute at Emirates Stadium after Arsenal were reduced to 10 men when Per Mertesacker was sent off for bringing down the striker five minutes earlier.

The defeat left Arsenal third in the table and three points behind leaders Leicester City.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are now just two points behind Arsenal in the table heading into the final 15 games of the season.

Celebrity Arsenal fan and club shareholder Morgan was clearly disappointed with Sundays result but now also feels that it has handed Spurs the initiative in one of the tightest title races in years.

Arsenal’s next Premier League game is a home clash with Southampton on Tuesday 2 February, with Spurs travelling to Norwich on the same day.
