Louis van Gaal sent social media into meltdown on Sunday with touchline antics.

The Manchester United manager thearatically dived to the turf during his side’s 3-2 victory over Arsenal to make a point to the fourth official.

The internet swiftly reacted to the comical moment with a series of memes, much to the amusement of one United player.

Herrera, who scored the Red Devils’s third in a 3-2 win against their bitter rivals, was caught liking a collage of Van Gaal-inspired memes on Instagram.

The Gunners suffered a setback in their bid to win a first Premier League title since 2004 after a subdued performance at their bitter rivals.

United teenager Marcus Rashford scored twice on his Premier League debut to hand the hosts a 2-0 lead before Danny Welbeck reduced the deficit ahead of half-time.
