The Catalan side travel to Emirates Stadium for the first leg of their last-16 clash against the Gunners as they look to take a step closer towards the quarter-finals of Europe’s elite club competition.
Sanchez has developed into a key player for Arsenal since his arrival at the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
He was a second-half substituted as Arsenal were held to a goalless draw in the fifth round of the FA Cup by Hull on Saturday.
And Iniesta admits that he is a keen admirer of the former Barcelona attacker.
Iniesta told Arsenal’s website: “What makes Alexis so dangerous is that he is unpredictable. When he dribbles, when he attacks, he is a very strong player.
“He’s got skill and when he has the ball he always creates doubts. In that sense, we have to try to make him feel uncomfortable on the field and try to minimise his strengths.”
Arsenal have lost the first leg at home in each of their last three round of 16 ties – against Bayern Munich (2013, 2014) and Monaco (2015).
The Gunners are looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2010.
