Andy Gray is tipping Manchester United to claim victory over Stoke City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils have been far from impressive in recent games but returned to winning ways when they beat Derby County 3-1 on Friday night in the FA Cup.

United slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat by Southampton in their most recent Premier League outing to leave them five points adrift of the top four.

However, Gray is tipping Louis van Gaal’s men to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday night against the Potters.

Gray wrote on his blog for Paddy Power: “The Red Devils have won four of their last six games but they haven’t impressed.

“Mark Hughes’ side looked a bit flat against Crystal Palace and Leicester and they need to start re-discovering their form again after their Capital One Cup semi-final exit at Anfield.

“While I can’t tip them with any real degree of confidence, but I’ll go for the home side to win.”

United will travel to Shrewsbury Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup later this month after their win over Derby last week.
