Piers Morgan says Tottenham Hotspur’s FA Cup exit will make Spurs even stronger in the Premier League title race.

Palace defender Martin Kelly scored a first-half winner for the visitors at White Hart Lane to seal a 1-0 win in the FA Cup fifth round.

Tottenham are in second place in the Premier League and two points behind Leicester City ahead of next Sunday’s game against Swansea City in north London.

Spurs take on Fiorentina in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday night following a 1-1 draw in Florence.

Outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan believes Tottenham’s fifth-round exit is bad news for the Gunners ahead of the north London derby on 5 March.

Tottenham have won their last five Premier League games following victories over Sunderland, Norwich City, Watford, Palace and Manchester City.
