Arsene Wenger refused to be drawn on Louis van Gaal’s touchline antics after Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Manchester United manager theatrically threw himself to the floor in front of fourth official Mike Dean as protested about a decision made by the referee during the game.

Arsenal boss Wenger was asked about the incident in his post-match news conference at Old Trafford, but the Frenchman preferred to remain quiet, rather than appear a “sore loser”.

Asked what he made of the incident at his post-match news conference, the Arsenal manager replied: “Nothing.

“You will have to ask him that question. I’m not one to comment on that because after you will say I’m a sore loser and I am.”

Two goals from teenager Marcus Rashford and another from Ander Herrera handed the Red Devils victory over the Gunners at Old Trafford.

The defeat dealt a significant blow to Arsenal’s title hopes and left them third in the Premier League and five points off top spot heading into the final 11 games of the campaign.
