Harry Kane has aimed a cheeky dig at Arsenal after Tottenham leapfrogged their bitter local rivals into third place in the Premier League table.

The Spurs striker scored twice as the Lilywhites recorded an impressive 3-0 win at Norwich City on Tuesday night.

We’re not worried about the teams behind us

Arsenal, meanwhile, were left frustrated as they were forced to settled for a point after a goalless draw with Southampton at The Emirates.

Tottenham are now in third place ahead of the Gunners due to their superior goal difference as they prepare for their home clash against Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

And the England striker aimed a thinly-veiled dig at Arsenal after Tuesday’s win by insisting that Spurs are no longer looking behind them in the table.

Kane is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “We’re not really looking behind us. We’re looking forward.

“That’s what’s been different from other seasons, when we were maybe trying to hang on to fourth or hang on to fifth.

“Now we’re third and we’re trying to get as far up the league as we can. We’re not worried about the teams behind us.

“We have games against Arsenal and Manchester City coming up but we don’t fear anyone.”
