Harry Kane has revealed that he and his Tottenham team-mates watched Arsenal come from a goal down to beat 10-man Leicester City on Sunday – but insisted that they were “not fussed” about the result.

Danny Welbeck came off the bench to score a dramatic equaliser for the home side deep into second-half stoppage time after Theo Walcott had cancelled out Jamie Vardy’s penalty.

The result temporarily lifted Arsenal three points clear of Tottenham and into second place in the table, before Spurs secured an impressive 2-1 win at Manchester City to move back above their rivals later in the day.

And although Kane revealed that he and his team-mates kept a close eye on proceedings at The Emirates, the striker insisted that the Lilywhites were only focused on performing against the Citizens.

Kane is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror: “We were watching it. But we weren’t too fussed about who won or what the situation was.

“We were focused on our job and we knew we had to get the three points against Man City to keep us up there.”
