Harry Kane hailed Tottenham Hotspur’s “solid performance” after Thursday night’s 3-0 win against Fiorentina at White Hart Lane.

Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason made the breakthrough in the 25th minute as the England international put Mauricio Pochettino’s side 2-1 ahead on aggregate.

Former Roma midfielder Erik Lamela added a second for the north London side before Fiorentina skipper Gonzalo Rodriguez scored an own goal in the second half.

Tottenham’s 3-0 win secured their place in the Europa League last-16 draw on Friday ahead of this weekend’s home clash against Swansea City in the Premier League.

And Kane, who missed Thursday night’s clash against La Viola, posted a Twitter message following the final whistle at The Lane.

Kane was forced to sit out the second leg of their Europa League last-32 tie following an operation on a broken nose.
However, the Spurs striker was keeping close tabs on his taem-mates throughout the clash.
