Jason Cundy has branded Arsenal and Liverpool as “serial bottlers”.

The Gunners suffered a blow in the title race on Sunday afternoon after a 3-2 loss to Louis van Gaal’s weakened Manchester United side at Old Trafford.

Liverpool failed to win their ninth League Cup final at Wembley after a 3-1 penalty shootout defeat by Manchester City following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.

Former Chelsea defender Cundy was quick to take to Twitter to mock Arsenal and Liverpool following a disappointing Sunday for the Premier League giants.

Arsenal are five points behind leaders Leicester City in the Premier League title race but 15 points ahead of the defending champions.

Liverpool were 3-1 winners at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League earlier this season and are two points clear of Guus Hiddink’s side.
