Joey Barton is tipping Leicester City to win the Premier League this season ahead of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Spurs underlined their status as genuine contenders for the title this season after an impressive 2-1 victory at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

That win came after Arsenal netted a stoppage-time winner to beat Leicester 2-1 at The Emirates and move to within two points of the leaders heading into the final 12 games of the season.

However, Burnley midfielder Barton feels that Leicester are still the favourites for the title and believes that Tottenham will finish above third-placed Arsenal in the table.

Arsenal’s next Premier League game is a crunch clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday 28 February.

Tottenham, meanwhile, host Swansea City at White Hart Lane on the same day.

Leicester only have the Premier League to focus on for the rest of the season and host Norwich City in their next game on Saturday 27 February.
