Laurent Koscielny has been passed fit for Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Hull City on Saturday lunchtime, Arsene Wenger confirmed as he delivered the latest injury update on Friday morning.

The French defender was substituted at half-time during last weekend’s 2-1 win over Leicester City after suffering a dead leg but Wenger confirmed that he is available for this weekend’s fifth-round tie.

The Arsenal manager also revealed that fellow defender Gabriel Paulista is around a week away from being fit again after suffering a slight hamstring injury.

Speaking at a news conference at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground on Friday morning, Wenger said: “Koscielny will be available – he has a test today.

“Gabriel is still out and will need one more week.”

The Arsenal boss also confirmed that midfielder Jack Wilshere is around three to four weeks away from a return to action for the north London side.
