Laurent Koscielny has taken to social media to thank Thierry Henry for his support after the Arsenal legend recently heaped praise on the Gunners defender.

The Arsenal centre-half has been in fine form this season and has been a regular fixture in the north London club’s first-team.

Koscielny, 30, has made 22 Premier League appearances for the Gunners so far this season and has netted three times for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday, Henry stated his belief that Koscielny is the best defender in the Premier League.

And the Arsenal centre-half used his personal Twitter account to thank the Gunners legend for his comments as he and his team-mates prepare for their crunch Premier League clash with Leicester on Sunday.
