“I think it will be a high-scoring game because they are two good attacking teams so I’m going to go for a 3-2 win for Liverpool,” Barnes told Sky Sports.
City are in Ukraine on Wednesday night to face Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Liverpool host Augsburg in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 clash at Anfield on Thursday evening.
