Matteo Darmian is desperate to make his return to action as soon as possible for Manchester United

Matteo Darmian has taken to social media to reveal that he is desperate to make his return from injury for Manchester United a soon as possible.

The Red Devils defender is set for a significant spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder during the Red Devils’ 2-1 loss to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last weekend.

Darmian, 26, has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United first-team since arriving at the club from Torino during the summer transfer window.

He has made 21 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils so far this season following his summer switch to the club.

And the defender used his personal Instagram account to show off his latest pair of Nike football boots and admit that he is already desperate to make his return to action.

Darmian shared the photo above on the app and wrote: “The new #NikeTiempo Metal Flash pack have just arrived, my determination to return to the pitch as soon as possible is at its strongest!!
