The Gunners were held to a disappointing goalless draw by Southampton at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as Arsene Wenger’s men failed to score for the third successive top-flight game.
The north Londoners have been tipped to be genuine contenders for the title this season as they look to lift the top-flight trophy for the first time since their unbeaten triumph in 2003-04.
Despite their recent struggles, former Manchester United and England striker Owen is tipping Arsenal to beat Bournemouth on Saturday with Olivier Giroud leading the line.
Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Arsenal were held to a goalless draw by Southampton at The Emirates and, despite failing to score in 307 minutes of Premier League action they should prove too good for Bournemouth at Dean Court.
“Benik Afobe has impressed since last month’s £9m move from Wolves and will be relishing the prospect of netting against his former club.
“The Gunners will surely come good in front of goal sooner rather than later with Frenchman Olivier Giroud an excellent price at both 29/20 to net on the south coast and 11/5 to score in a Gunners success.”
Arsenal, who have won the FA Cup for the last two seasons, are currently fourth in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Leicester City heading into the final 14 games of the season.
