Michael Owen is tipping Arsenal to return to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Southampton at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Gunners head into the game looking to bounce back from the disappointment of their 1-0 loss to Chelsea in their most recent top-flight game as they dropped down into third place in the table.

Arsenal booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon thanks to a 2-1 win over Burnley at Emirates Stadium.

Former England striker Owen feels that Arsenal will have to win Tuesday’s game against the Saints in north London if they want to have any chance of winning the Premier League this season.

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has gone head-to-head with Ronald Koeman on 10 previous occasions as Arsenal manager but has only come out on top twice.

“Saints have won their last three without conceding a goal whilst the Gunners have not been at their best but this is a game they must win if they are to mount a realistic title challenge.”
