Michael Owen is expecting Manchester City’s clash with Tottenham at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon to end in a draw.

Spurs have been in fine form in recent weeks and head into the game in second place in the Premier League table, five points behind high-flying Leicester City.

The Lilywhites were 1-0 winners over Watford at White Hart Lane last weekend and have been touted by many to be genuine contenders for the Premier League title his season.

City, meanwhile, head into Sunday’s clash looking to bounce back to winning ways after the disappointment of their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City at The Etihad last weekend.

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Owen is expecting a tight game between Spurs and City and admits it is a tough result to predict.

Writing in his blog for Bet Victor, Owen said: “There have been 41 goals scored in the last nine Premier League games between the sides and Sergio Aguero has ten in eight against the north London outfit.

“Spurs continue to impress whilst City must have had their confidence knocked by the Foxes last weekend; a tough but fascinating game to call and the key might be if Spurs can keep Aguero quiet.”
