Michael Owen predicts the outcome of Man Utd v Arsenal

Michael Owen previews Manchester United's clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday

Michael Owen is backing Manchester United to hold Arsenal to a draw in Sunday’s crunch Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Arsenal head into the game looking to return to winning ways and bounce back from the disappointment of their 2-0 loss at the hands of Barcelona on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

The Gunners are currently the favourites to win the Premier League title this season, despite being third in the table behind leaders Leicester and second-placed Tottenham,

Arsenal are two points off top spot heading into the final 12 games of the season and will be keen to build on their 2-1 win over Leicester at The Emirates in their most recent outing.

However, former Manchester United striker Owen reckons that the Red Devils are likely to hold the Gunners to a draw at Old Trafford this weekend.

Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “The Gunners are all but out of the Champions League after their 2-0 reverse at home to Barcelona in midweek and this is a massive game for the club in their quest for the Premier League title.

“They haven’t won in their last eight Premier League visits to Old Trafford and might have to settle for a point against a United side who have gained fewer points (41) after 26 games than the club have gained in any other Premier League season.”
