Owen was impressed by the Red Devils’ dominant display, as well as Depay’s sparkling performance.
Owen tweeted after the game: “The opposition may have been average but that’s the best performance Old Trafford has seen for quite a while. Memphis was on fire!”
United now turn their attentions towards their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
