Billed as the product to deliver the best experience in premium performance running, the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v6 is an impressive shoe built for the long haul.

Fit: The Fresh Foam 1080 features a bootie-construction designed to accommodate various instep heights and foot volumes to wrap the midfoot securely. An engineered mesh in the vamp is designed to give runners room for natural toe splay over longer distances.

Feel: The shoe has a cushioned underfoot feel that respects and maintains the need to engage with the ride itself. An emboss on the top bed of the midsole in conjunction with the flex groove placement, combine to complement flexibility in this cushioned underfoot shoe. The extremely soft and cushioned tongue is also one of the most notable features when you slip the shoe on for the first time and adds to the overall luxurious feel.

Weight: 293.4 grams (10.04 oz)

Offset: 8mm drop

Price: £115

Verdict: The Fresh Foam 1080 v6 is a great option for the daily trainer looking for a well-cushioned shoe that has an added dose of luxury.
