Tottenham earned a credible 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday night.

Mauricio Pochettino’s switch their focus to the FA Cup on Sunday as the Lilywhites host Crystal Palace in the fifth round at White Hart Lane.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday, Hargreaves explained why he believes Pochettino is building something special at Tottenham.

“Spurs are building something incredibly special. You get a group of very talented players,” Hargreaves said.

“A very good coach. You give those players confidence and they have the hunger for it. Hopefully this team can stay together for years to come.

“I believe Spurs can win the league if they don’t win it this season.”

Tottenham were impressive 2-1 winners against title rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend thanks to Christian Eriksen’s dramatic winner.

Spurs have won their last five Premier League games thanks to wins against Sunderland, Norwich City, Palace, Watford and the Citizens.
