Luke Shaw has handed Manchester United a timely boost after he was pictured at Carrington this week as the left-back continues his recovery from a broken leg.

The England international has been out of action since September since suffering a double fracture of his leg during the Champions League defeat by PSV Eindhoven.

Shaw’s recovery has been progressing quicker than initially anticipated as the defender bids to regain fitness before the end of the season.

And the picture above will come as welcome news for Manchester United fans as the Red Devils look to turn their disappointing recent form around in the wake of a number of injuries to players such as Marcos Rojo and Ashley Young.

United are now turning their attentions to their crunch Premier League showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
