Guus Hiddink’s men were put through their paces at the west London club’s Cobham training ground on Friday morning as they completed their final preparations ahead of their trip to the South Coast.
Chelsea head into the game on the back of their thumping 5-1 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues have struggled to find consistent form in the Premier League all season and are currently 15 points adrift of the top four heading into the final 12 games of the campaign.
However, Chelsea have shown significant signs of improvement since Hiddink’s appointment as Mourinho’s successor in December, with the Blues unbeaten in the league since the Dutchman’s arrival.
And the west London club will be hoping to stretch their positive run of form by beating the Saints at St Mary’s on Saturday.
