Dele Alli and Harry Kane trained under the lights of Stadio Artemio Franchi as Tottenham Hotspur prepared to face Fiorentina in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.

The north London side are in fine form in the Premier League and their 2-1 win against title rivals Manchester City was their fifth successive top-flight victory.

Tottenham are only two points behind surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City ahead of their next top-flight fixture against Swansea City at White Hart Lane.

In the meantime, Tottenham have a clash against La Viola in Florence on Thursday night to focus on before Mauricio Pochettino’s side play Crystal Palace in their FA Cup fifth-round clash at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

The clubs met in the 2014/15 round of 32, Vincenzo Montella’s Viola drawing 1-1 at White Hart Lane before eliminating Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs with a 2-0 win in Florence.

Fiorentina have yet to lose – or concede a goal – in five home encounters with English opposition (W4 D1). Their record in ten UEFA games against English sides is W6 D2 L2 (W2 D1 L2 in England).
