Erik Lamela and Hugo Lloris were all smiles as Mauricio Pochettino put his Tottenham Hotspur players through their paces ahead of Sunday’s game at Manchester City.

The north London side are in second place and five points behind Premier League leaders Leicester City after last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Watford at White Hart Lane.

Former Burnley defender Kieran Trippier scored Tottenham’s winner to seal their fourth consecutive Premier League win.

Tottenham are looking to win their first Premier League title but Pochettino’s impressive side will face a stern examination against two-time winners City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

However, Spurs were 4-1 winners against the Citizens earlier this season thanks to goals from Toby Alderweireld, Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Erik Lamela.

The Citizens will be looking to respond to Saturday’s 3-1 defeat by Leicester at The Etihad.
