Piers Morgan has sarcastically praised the English media for finally criticising Arsene Wenger’s poor record over the past 11 seasons.

The Gunners suffered a blow in the Premier League title race on Sunday afternoon after a 3-2 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The north London side are in third place but five points behind leaders Leicester City following their loss to their bitter rivals.

Outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan was unsurprisingly furious with Sunday’s result, calling on Gunners supporters to unite against Wenger.

Arsenal endured a miserable eight-day run which started with a goalless draw against Championship side Hull City in the FA Cup fifth round at the Emirates Stadium.
