Wayne Rooney will be a big miss for Manchester United after the captain was ruled out with a knee injury.

According to reports in the British media, the England international could miss up to two months due to his injury setback ahead of this summer’s European championship.

Rooney has scored seven goals in his last 10 games in all competitions for United, including his strike in a 3-0 win against Stoke City at Old Trafford in the Red Devils’s last victory on 2 February.
