Theo Walcott has taken to social media to reveal his excitement at having Danny Welbeck back in Arsenal training ahead of Sunday’s crunch clash with Leicester City.

Welbeck has been sidelined all season with a knee injury but is now closing in on a return for the north London side after lining up for the club’s Under-21 side in recent days.

The former Manchester United striker has been training with Arsenal’s first-team in recent days as the Gunners prepare for their showdown with the Foxes at Emirates Stadium on Sunday lunchtime.

Welbeck is not expected to feature against the Foxes at The Emirates on Sunday but could make his comeback against Hull City in the FA Cup next weekend.

And Walcott used his personal Instagram account to reveal his delight at seeing Welbeck back in action with his team-mates.
