The Spurs striker has been in fine form for the north London club so far this term and netted his side’s opener from the penalty spot as they beat Manchester City 2-1 at The Etihad last weekend.
Kane currently has 16 Premier League goals to his name and trails Leicester striker Vardy by three heading into the final 12 games of the season.
However, former Chelsea striker Cascarino feels that Kane is set to win the Premier League golden boot and is also backing the forward to be England’s main man at this summer’s European championships in France.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday morning, Cascarino said: “He has become a real player. He has improved so much, Harry.
“He’ll bang them in, he’ll sidefoot them in he’ll get on the end of crosses. Harry’s got a real range of goals and he’s got hunger now.
“Kane (will finish as Premier League top scorer) and I think he’ll go as England’s leading goal-scorer in the Premier League this year to the Euros.”
Kane will be expecting to feature when Tottenham take on Fiorentina in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 clash on Thursday night.
