Michael Owen looks ahead to Tottenham's FA Cup fifth-round clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon

Michael Owen is expecting to see Tottenham ease to a comfortable victory over Crystal Palace to book their place in the sixth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs head into the game in fine domestic form and fresh from their impressive 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the weekend.

The north London side have won eight of their last 10 Premier League games – including their last five on the spin – and are currently second in the table heading into the final 12 games of the season.

And Owen is backing Mauricio Pochettino’s men to continue their superb domestic form by beating Palace comfortably at White Hart Lane at the weekend.

Writing in his blog for Bet Victor, Owen said: “Mauricio Pochettino’s side continue to impress and they are hard to oppose against an Eagles side who are likely to have former Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor in their ranks after his first goal for the club last weekend.

“That said, the Eagles are hoping to have a couple of their better players back from injury and they have certainly missed Yannick Bolasie who has been linked with Spurs in the past.

“My recommendation: Spurs to win to nil.”

Spurs booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a victory away at high-flying Leicester back in January.

The Lilywhites’ next Premier League game is a home clash against Swansea on Sunday 28 February.
