Wayne Rooney took to social media to poke fun at Piers Morgan after Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Manchester United captain sat out the game due to injury but watched on from the stands as the Red Devils made it three wins on the bounce with victory over the Gunners.

The result dealt a significant blow to Arsenal’s title hopes and left the Gunners five points behind leaders Leicester City heading into the final 11 games of the season.

And Red Devils skipper Rooney was quick to take to social media after the game to send a brief message to Arsenal shareholder Morgan.

Rooney tweeted:

United now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their home clash with Watford on Wednesday night.
