Adebayor sends message to Tottenham and Arsenal ahead of derby

Emmanuel Adebayor has taken to social media to wish both Arsenal and Tottenham good luck ahead of Saturday’s north London derby showdown at White Hart Lane.

The two bitter local rivals are preparing to do battle in north London as both sides look to continue their fights for the Premier League title.

A win for Tottenham would lift them six points clear of Arsenal and to the top of the Premier League table ahead of Leicester’s trip to Watford.

And Adebayor, who played for both north London clubs and now plies his trade with Crystal Palace, is looking forward to the game.

Adebayor posted the pictures above on his personal Instagram account on Saturday afternoon and wrote: “SEA, hey guys ! It’s the derby day in London…Tottenham vs Arsenal!

“It’s always a great show when these two teams meet. I have been on both sides and I know how intensive it’s going to be. Good luck to both teams, may the best wins!”

Arsenal head into the game looking to respond to their back to back defeats by Manchester United and Swansea City in the Premier League.

Spurs were beaten 1-0 by West Ham United on Wednesday night.
