Alexis Sanchez looked to be in good spirits as he jetted off for international duty with Arturo Vidal after Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend.

Sanchez featured for the whole game as Arsene Wenger’s men returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a convincing victory at Goodison Park.

The win was a welcome relief for Arsenal fans after their team had notched up just one victory in eight outings in all competitions before the weekend.

And Sanchez looked to be in high spirits as he posed for a picture with Vidal, who was heavily linked with a transfer to Arsenal before he ended up signing for Bayern Munich.

Gary Medel posted the picture above on his personal Twitter account on Monday and wrote: “Heading to Santiago to play for @laRoja! #VamosChileCTM!”
