The Uruguay international’s future has been a source of speculation in recent months amid claims that he could be set to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season after helping the French side win the Ligue 1 title this season.
Cavani is understood to be on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs and has been touted as a possible transfer target for Chelsea ahead of next season.
Now, the player’s representative has hinted that Cavani could be on his way to Stamford Bridge, by admitting that Antonio Conte’s style of play could be best suited for his client.
Conte is the heavy favourite to replace Guus Hiddink as Chelsea’s new manager in the summer.
And Cavani’s agent Fernando Guglielmone is quoted as saying by Metro: “In three months everything can change. Edinson could stay at PSG, who have an ambitious project, but also he could change.
“‘Who do I prefer between Jose Mourinho, Conte and Massimo Allegri? There are three big coaches, but for Edy I’d prefer the attacking game of Conte and Allegri.”
Chelsea are currently 10th in the Premier League.
