Guus Hiddink drops hint about Alexandre Pato ahead of Norwich v Chelsea

Guus Hiddink suggests that Alexandre Pato could be involved when Chelsea take on Norwich on Tuesday

Guus Hiddink has hinted that he is ready to hand Alexandre Pato his Chelsea debut when the Blues travel to Norwich City in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The west London side are gearing up for their trip to Carrow Road as they look to build on their 2-1 comeback win at Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Pato is yet to feature for the Blues since arriving at Chelsea from Corinthians on loan for the rest of the season last month.

The Brazilian striker has been working hard on his fitness at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground in recent weeks.

And although Pato is not deemed fit enough to play the full 90 minutes against the Canaries, Hiddink has suggested that he could play some part at Norwich.

Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Monday afternoon, Hiddink said:

Chelsea are currently 11th in the Premier League table and 11 points adrift of the top four heading into the final 11 games of the season.
