Guus Hiddink says he will make a late decision on Diego Costa’s fitness but Eden Hazard is fit to face Everton in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Goodison Park.

The Spain international was forced off in the second half of Wednesday night’s 2-1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Costa had levelled after Adrien Rabiot’s opener before Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a winner for the Ligue 1 champions to send them through to the quarter-final stage.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference on Friday afternoon, Hiddink delivered an update on Costa’s fitness ahead of their clash against Everton.

Reigning PFA player of the year Hazard was also substituted during the second half of Wednesday night’s defeat after a mixed performance from the Belgium international.

Interim Chelsea manager Hiddink revealed that Hazard has been playing with an injury in recent weeks but added the forward should be fit to face Everton.

Finally, the Blues boss confirmed captain John Terry has trained with the squad ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup tie.
