Jamie Carragher explains why Leicester have a big advantage over Tottenham in the Premier League title race

Jamie Carragher has revealed what is Tottenham Hotspur’s biggest problem in the Premier League title race.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side cut Leicester’s lead at the top of the table to five points thanks to Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.

Harry Kane scored twice inside 16 minutes at White Hart Lane to calm any nerves amongst the Tottenham players and supporters.

Denmark international Christian Eriksen scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season to secure three points for the hosts.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher explained why Leicester have a big advantage in the Premier League title race.

Carragher told Sky Sports: “The problem for Spurs is Leicester’s toughest fixtues are right at the end of the season.

“If they were level pegging that would be fantastic.

“They could do with the Man Utd or Chelsea games being in the middle.

“In those last three games, if Leicester still have a five-point lead, it is a massive lead.”

Tottenham have won eight of their last 10 Premier League games.

The north London side make the daunting trip to Anfield in their next Premier League game to face Liverpool on Saturday 2 April.

Leicester will host Southampton at King Power Stadium on Sunday 3 Apri.
