The Gunners slumped to a third successive defeat in all competitions on Wednesday night after a surprise 2-1 loss to Swansea City at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger’s side are six points behind leaders Leicester City after losing their two games since a 2-1 win against the Foxes on Vaentines Day in north London.
The FA Cup holders make the short trip to title rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in Saturday’s early kick-off at White Hart Lane.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s north London derby, former Leeds and Manchester United midfielder Giles criticised Wenger’s over reliance on technical midfielders like Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere.
“He has about eight midfield players,” Giles told Newstalk.
“He has only got one striker really of any note. He seems to enjoy the Wilsheres of this world and the Cazorlas, who are good players.
“There is no real warrior among any of them.”
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004.
The Gunners played out a 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the Premier League earlier this season after Kieran Gibbs cancelled out Harry Kane’s opener at The Emirates.
