The Germany playmaker was in good form for the north Londoners as Wenger’s men secured a convincing win on Merseyside to keep themselves in the Premier League title race.
Ozil suffered an ankle problem during the second half at Goodison Park and limped off late in the game.
But Wenger moved to ease fears about Ozil’s problem when addressing the media after the game.
Speaking at his post-match news conference, Gunners boss Wenger said: “It is an ankle problem, but it looks more of a kick than an ankle problem.”
Arsenal are not back in Premier League action until their home clash against Watford after the international break on Saturday 2 April.
The win over Everton left Wenger’s men third in the Premier League table and 11 points behind leaders Leicester City, who have played one game more than the north London side.
