The Gunners have seen their title charge stutter over the past week after successive Premier League defeats have left Arsene Wenger’s side six points behind leaders Leicester City.
Arsenal lost 3-2 to a weakened Manchester United side at Old Trafford last weekend before a surprise 2-1 loss to Premier League strugglers Swansea City at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
Wenger’s players have been criticised for apparently choking in the title race when the Gunners had the chance to seize control of their destiny.
Former Arsenal forward Brady attempted to give some insight into why the Gunners have struggled over the past week amid the increased pressure.
“There is an atmosphere at the club at the moment, we’ve been in this situation so many times and having failed so many times,” Brady told Irish Examiner.
“It is almost like it is going to happen again. They are sensing that.
“The only way to turn it around is for the players to perform.”
Arsenal make the trip bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s north London derby at White Hart Lane.
Spurs have won six of their last seven Premier League games.
