Luis Suarez paid a special visit to Liverpool’s training ground on Tuesday as the Reds prepare for their crunch Europa League clash with Manchester United on Thursday night.

The Uruguay international, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool in July 2014, gave the thumbs up alongside Mamadou Sakho at Melwood on Tuesday morning.

Sakho, who helped Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Sunday, posted the video above on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday morning and wrote: “Special visit at Melwood this morning !! #YNWA #LFC”

Suarez has been in sublime form for Barcelona since joining the club from Liverpool one and a half years ago.
