Michael Owen is backing West Ham to earn at least a draw against Manchester United in their FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers have been in fine form in the Premier League in recent weeks and are currently fifth in the table, and two points ahead of United heading into the final nine games of the campaign.

Slaven Bilic’s side have won six of their last 10 games in the Premier League and could challenge for a top-four finish in the closing stages of the season.

United, meanwhile, are looking to respond after they suffered a 1-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League last weekend.

However, former United and Liverpool striker Owen is expecting to see the east London side get a result at Old Trafford.

Writing in his blog for Bet Victor, Owen said: “The Hammers are without a win in their last nine trips to Old Trafford but I feel their name will still be in the hat when the draw is made at the end of the 90 minutes.

“United have lost their last two FA Cup home games against Premier League opposition and were in Europa League action on Thursday at Anfield whilst the Irons had a full week to prepare for Sunday’s Old Trafford clash.

“I expect the Irons to get at least a replay.”
