Pat Nevin says Tottenham Hotspur are the team to watch in the Premier League title race.

Mauricio Pochettino’s secured a huge result on Sunday afternoon after second-half goals from Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose secured a 2-1 victory over Swansea City.

Tottenham are in second place and two points behind leaders Leicester City in the Premier League table ahead of Wednesday night’s London derby at West Ham United.

Former Chelsea midfielder Nevin believes Spurs have a fantastic chance of winning the Premier League title this season.

“Tottenham are the team to watch,” Nevin told Newstalk.

“There is a grit and belief about them now. There is a fight there which hasn’t been synonymous with Tottenham over the years.

“I loved the openness of Spurs and they always have been that way, they’re still attack minded but this time they’ve got half a chance of getting title glory.”

Tottenham have won their last six Premier League games after victories over Sunderland, Norwich City, Watford, Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Swansea.

Pochettino’s side make the short trip to Slaven Bilic’s West Ham at Upton Park in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
