David De Gea has challenged Manchester United to extend their winning run ahead of Sunday’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.

The Red Devils secured their fourth successive win in all competitions at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Juan Mata scored an 83rd-minute winner for the Red Devils against Watford to seal a 1-0 victory and move Louis van Gaal’s side level on points with fourth-placed Manchester City.

United have managed to release the pressure on their manager over the past 11 days thanks to victories over Shrewsbury Town, FC Midtjylland, Arsenal and Watford.

However, Spain international De Gea wants the 20-time English champions to continue their winning streak against the Baggies on Sunday afternoon.

De Gea wrote on his Instagram page: “Great win! We want to keep on with this winning streak! Gran victoria! 🔴 @manchesterunited Not a bad goal @juanmatagarcia ⚽️”

The Red Devils are in fifth place in the Premier League table and only four points behind third-placed Arsenal.
