Jurgen Klopp was understandably all smiles after watching his Liverpool team take a big step towards reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League by beating Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield on Thursday night.

Goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino handed the Reds an impressive victory in front of their home fans on Merseyside.

And former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher’s son was all smiles with Klopp after the game as the Reds celebrated their win.

Carragher shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Thursday evening and wrote: “Well done Gaffer! #onlyhalftime”

Liverpool now have a free weekend to prepare for the return leg of the European clash at Old Trafford next Thursday night.
