Liverpool have opted to take all of their players not on international duty to the Canary Islands to soak up some sun and work on their fitness levels in warmer climes.
Caulker, who joined Liverpool on loan from Championship side Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season, has only made three appearances for the Reds in the Premier League so far this term – and all from the substitutes’ bench.
However, the defender will be hoping to work on his fitness levels and prove himself worthy of a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s side as the Merseyside outfit continue their training camp in Tenerife this week.
Caulker posted the picture above on his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon of himself enjoying a camel ride with his son and wrote: “Made a new friend”
