Radamel Falcao hasn’t had too much to smile about this season, but the Chelsea striker appeared in a good mood with his wife on Monday morning.

The Colombia international hasn’t featured for the west London side since a 3-1 defeat by Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on 31 October.

Falcao has fallen further down the pecking order following the arrival of Alexandre Pato, whilst Loic Remy was handed a rare start in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United.

The 30-year-old has only started 20 games in all competitions during loans spells at Manchester United and Chelsea over the past two seasons.

So, unsurprisingly, Falcao appeared to have plenty of energy to use up during what looked like a skiing holiday with his wife.

The striker’s partner posted the above photo and wrote on her Instagram page: “Good morning”
