Roberto Firmino appeared in high spirits as he joined Alberto Moreno and Lucas Leiva for a selfie in Tenerife on Thursday night ahead of Easter weekend.

The Brazil international has been recovering from a hamstring problem which has kept the 24-year-old playmaker sidelined for Liverpool’s last Premier League game at St Mary’s.

Firmino was forced to sit out as the Reds squandered a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 to Southampton on Sunday afternoon much to the annoyance of manager Jurgen Klopp.

The South American has been one of Liverpool’s key players in the calendar year so far after a return of eight goals and seven assists in the Premier League alone.

However, Firmino looks to be well on the road to recovery judging by the numerous physiotherapist sessions that he has enjoyed so far this week.
