Roberto Firmino snapped a selfie the Liverpool squad’s plane ahead of their warm weather training camp.

The Brazil international missed Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat by Southampton in the Premier League at St Mary’s on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds squandered a 2-0 lead in the absence of Firmino as Sadio Mane scored twice and Graziano Pelle curled a finish past Simon Mignolet in the Liverpool goal.

Jurgen Klopp will take a depleted squad for a spot of training in Tenerife during the international break.

And Firmino posted a selfie on his Snapchat story as the Liverpool squad settled down for their trip to Tenerife.

The South American playmaker has played a key part in Liverpool’s second half of the season.

Firmino has scored seven goals and has made six assists in the Premier League for the Merseyside outfit.
